Our Promise of Confidence
Every Carbone Renewed device is certified by Carbone Renewal & Quality Assurance experts and engineered for reliability through a rigorous 60-step inspection and certification process. Each device is individually tested, verified, and approved by trained technicians to meet Carbone’s functional and quality standards. This expert certification is our assurance that every Carbone device delivers dependable performance, transparent condition grading, and long-term reliability — not just at the time of sale, but throughout its lifecycle. This policy applies to all Carbone-branded renewed electronics (including but not limited to smartphones, tablets, laptops, and wearables) sold via:
• Carbone official website (online)
• Authorized Carbone offline retailers
Territory: Applicable within the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Iraq.
Service Provider: Service is managed by Carbone in coordination with local fulfilment partners.
1. Quality Grading & Inspection Carbone Renewed devices are professionally tested, inspected, and graded via a 60-point diagnostic: • Carbone Pristine: Like-new condition. The housing and screen have no visible scratches or marks. Ideal for gifting. • Carbone Like New: Excellent condition. May show microscopic signs of use (e.g., faint hairlines on the chassis) invisible from an arm’s length.
2. Standard Warranty (Included with Every Purchase)
2.1 Duration 12 months from the date of delivery.
2.2 Coverage Core & Hardware Integrity Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, including full functionality of original internal components. This includes manufacturing defects in all internal hardware (e.g., Motherboard, CPU, Sensors, Wi-Fi modules, hinges).
2.3 Screen & Battery Coverage (The Carbone Differentiator) • Screen and battery are fully covered for manufacturing or renewal (refurbishment) defects for the entire 12-month warranty period.
• Normal cosmetic wear or normal battery capacity degradation due to usage is excluded.
2.4 Accidental Damage Accidental damage (drops, cracks, liquid damage) is not covered under the Standard Warranty.
2.5 Service Fees No service or inspection fees for valid standard warranty claims.
2.6 Service Resolution & Fulfilment At Carbone’s discretion, a valid claim will result in: • Free repair, or • Replacement with a device of the same or better grade (Carbone Pristine or Like New), or • Refund or store credit if repair or replacement is not feasible For any valid claim, our partner will collect the device from your location.
2.7 Security Requirement All security locks (e.g., “Find My,” iCloud, Apple ID, BIOS/Firmware passwords) must be removed before collection. Locked devices cannot be serviced and will be returned at the sender’s expense.
2.8 14-Day Worry-Free Return (“Perfection Period”) • Customers may return the device within 14 days of purchase. • Return accepted for defects or if the product does not match the description. • Device must be returned in original condition with accessories.
3. Carbone Care (Extended Protection Plan) (Optional Premium Upgrade) 3.1 Plan Overview Carbone Care is an optional upgrade that transforms your warranty into a comprehensive protection plan, covering the unpredictable moments of daily tech use.
3.2 Eligibility & Activation • Applicable to all Carbone Renewed smartphones, laptops, and tablets. • Customers may purchase and activate Carbone Care within 60 days of the original device purchase. • Activation after 60 days is not permitted. • Coverage, once activated, is applied retroactively from the original purchase date.
3.3 Duration Extends total protection period to 24 months from the original purchase date.
3.4 Coverage Core Includes all benefits of the Standard Warranty for the full 24-month period.
3.5 Accidental Damage Protection • Covers up to two (2) accidental damage incidents during the plan period (e.g., shattered screens/displays, liquid damage/spills, structural damage such as
cracks or broken hinges).
3.6 Service Fee (Deductible) • A pre-disclosed, reduced service fee applies for accidental damage claims. This fee is per device/category (see table below). • No service fee applies for defect-related claims.

3.7 The “No-Hassle” Claim Process • GCC-Wide Fulfilment: Claims are picked up by our regional fulfilment partners. • Resolution: If we cannot repair your device to Carbone standards, we will replace it with a device of the same or better grade (Carbone Pristine or Like New).
3.8 Screen & Battery Coverage • Defect coverage extended to 24 months. • Accidental screen or battery damage is covered within the total limit of up to two (2) accidental damage incidents.
4. What Is Not Covered – Carbone Standard Warranty The Carbone Standard Warranty does not cover:
• Accidental damage (drops, cracks, impact damage, structural damage such as broken hinges).
• Liquid or water damage.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
• Normal wear and tear, including normal battery capacity reduction due to usage.
• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or opening of the device.
• Use of incompatible or non-certified accessories.
• iCloud / Apple ID lock issues, forgotten credentials, or Activation Lock.
• Jailbreaking, rooting, or any unauthorized software modification.
• Loss or theft.
• Devices with active security locks sent for service.
Any device showing signs of misuse or unauthorized repair will void the Standard Warranty.
5. What Is Not Covered – Carbone Care
The Carbone Care Protection Plan does not cover:
• Any accidental damage claims exceeding two (2) incidents during the coverage period.
• Intentional damage, abuse, negligence, or reckless use.
• Repeated or excessive accidental damage.
• Catastrophic damage rendering the device beyond economical repair.
• Damage occurring before Carbone Care activation.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect device functionality.
• Normal wear and tear beyond manufacturing or renewal defects.
• Liquid damage outside the approved accidental damage claims.
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or opening of the device.
• Use of incompatible or non-certified accessories.
• iCloud / Apple ID lock issues, forgotten credentials, or Activation Lock.
• Jailbreaking, rooting, or any unauthorized software modification.
• Loss or theft.
• Accessories, SIM cards, cables, chargers, or consumable items.
Carbone Care coverage applies only when the protection plan is active and validated.
6. Carbone Standard Warranty & Carbone Care Coverage Framework
All warranty and protection coverage is provided exclusively by Carbone under the terms of this policy.
6.1 Coverage Structure
• Carbone Standard Warranty: Automatically included with every purchase.
• Carbone Care: Optional paid upgrade.
6.2 Relationship Between Carbone Warranty & Carbone Care
• Months 0–12: Covered under Carbone Standard Warranty.
• Months 13–24: Defect coverage continues under Carbone Care (if activated).
• Accidental damage claims are covered only if Carbone Care is active.
7. General Terms & Conditions
• Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• Customer is responsible for backing up data and removing all security locks prior to service.
• Warranty repairs do not extend the original warranty duration.
• Carbone reserves the right to inspect and determine warranty eligibility.
• Carbone is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss.
• Service is facilitated through Carbone’s network of local fulfilment partners.
Carbone reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. The latest version published on the official Carbone website shall prevail.
